Radioactive Takeoff: I took this photograph while on a field trip to the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum in Auburn, Indiana with a group of Brazilian exchange students enrolled in a year-long intensive study program that included a special summer session to learn language and culture.

While I roamed through the rooms with the students, I saw an opportunity to capture the mundane in a context where its everydayness is obscured. The hood ornaments of these classic automobiles were showing me historic moments in motion captured from the ornament's pov.
